Seven blocks around one neutral core.
The Assistant core knows nothing about your industry on its own. Personas, Skills, Tools, Workflows, Knowledge, Memory, and Governance plug into it, so a new domain is configuration rather than a rewrite.
Reads are broad. Writes wait for you.
The assistant can read what your role allows across time, projects, meetings, and documents. Anything that changes a record stops at a review screen until a person presses confirm. Every tool call leaves an audit record, reads included.

What it is
The domain-neutral core. It holds the conversation, calls the model, and routes work to the other blocks.

No framework between you and the model.
The Lab is built on the model providers' own SDKs and a vector store. There's no heavy agent framework in the middle to debug, upgrade, or explain to an auditor.
Vague wording gets rewritten in plain view.
Eureka turns hurried wording into a command the system understands and shows both side by side. If a rewrite could change what you meant, it asks first. One click undoes it.

The Lab is a controlled evaluation environment. Its capabilities are for evaluation, testing, and internal development unless agreed in writing.
Built by people who ran the function.
Archimedes Lab comes from Trillium Digital Services, a boutique consulting firm whose leaders spent 20 to 30 years running the functions they now build for. The Lab is how we put an agentic workforce next to people without taking the decision away from them.

Why the name.
Pappus credits Archimedes with saying he could move the Earth if he had a place to stand. In the Lab, governance is the place to stand. The model's reach is the lever, and nothing moves that you didn't approve.

Loculus is the Lab's adaptive workspace, a tab inside your team chat. You write what you want to do, and the right screen opens with the form filled in for your review.

If you type nonbillable, the model never overrules it. Guesses fill the blanks you left. They never overwrite the ones you filled.
